Why do I have the word "modified" on my screen?

Just reinstalled windows and X2, installed patch 1.3 straight, installed mk3 trader script called TradeExtensionMK3US.exe which you get from egosoft's web site. After loading up my old game I now have this Modified tag. Why is that? is it because I ran the trader script from egosoft?

If it is, how can I fix it? How do I remove the script and indications from my savedgames? The word "modified" is seriously imparing the scenic feel of space.

The Mk3 is included in the 1.3 patch

So you could try reinstaling the game without that patch

Reinstalled twice, modified still there. It seems that it is saved into the savedgame. How can I remove it? ANyone know? I am desperate to get rid of it.
