A time for heroes - Interlude 1 (1/08/05)
Dear All,
Just a quick note to say that this is a very short section. Here we jump back to the Police inspector. He is as it were the "narator", the story unfolds as he is reading it. Hope that makes sense.

Interlude 1
The Argon police inspector looked up from the file to glance at the vidlink monitor to the interrogation room. In his head he was already building an image of a typical sociopath as the basis for the prisoner’s character. Youthful adventure seeking, plus the sudden violent death of the father, Graaf was a textbook case for the criminologists. Still it was hard to relate the cold, half amused demeanour of his prisoner, with the young, vibrant man in the file.
The inspector’s chronometer bleeped. Glancing down he realised he had been reading for over half a stazura and had barely scratched the surface of the file. He rubbed his eyes it was definitely going to be a long night. In the office corner was a pot of steaming coffee, he poured a cup and took a sip. The acrid taste made him wince, it had been stewing half the night. In his desk he found a some sachets of sugar, he poured them in to sweeten the taste. He was glad he was locked up in his office. His wife would kill him if she ever found out, his blood pressure was already too high.
He took another sip of the coffee, the taste was slightly improved and picked up the datacard and began where he had left off…

Yeah, it could be the same universe......Or it could be worseKiwiNZ wrote:... or get blown up by anybody who doesn't like you
I don't think it'd be any easier than what we already have. Definitely not if you have to start in a limping camel with 200 credits in your pockets.

Sorry....but which stories chapters r u talking about?Urashima Keitaro wrote:Real life, unfortunately gets in the way of everything. I won't be able to afford spending as much time on my novels this year as getting better grades than a U this year are more important. However, over the weekend I will post chaps 12 and 13. Sorry for the slowness.

As with another story, I am gently attempting to persuade another chapter of this cool story by putting back to the top of the list. Don't want to see it going the same way as Dark Haven 2...........(whistles in a casual way............... "bump!")
(Waiting for the stiff talking to by the mods now!)
