Our latest update for X: Rebirth is now available. New features include:

• New generic missions and new upkeep missions for easier station management.
• New ships: The new Onil mining ships available in the Canteran shipyard in DeVries.
• New "Container Magnet" which helps to attract nearby collectables to the player ship.
• Easier navigation through text search field in map.
• New FXAA graphics option.

And among the many other improvements in 3.50 are:

• Improved station manager and station owned ship trade behavior.
• Improved balancing and accuracy of combat calculations when player is not present.
• Improved response of player owned stations to nearby player ships being attacked.
• Completely reworked Russian localization.
• Improved support for UI-modding and much more...

Don't forget that we also have a Free Weekend running on Steam until the 15th of March for all of our X series games, and that the very first Alpha test version of X: Rebirth for Linux will also be available through Steam Play.

We are pleased to announce a Free Weekend on Steam, covering the weekend of the 13th to the 15th of March. During this weekend all of our X series games, from X-Beyond the Frontier right through to X: Rebirth, will be available for you to try out. So whether you're new to the series and are wondering what they are like, or just have some of our games missing from your collection, give it a go!

To coincide with the Free Weekend, we will also be releasing our latest update for X: Rebirth, including a new ship, several new gameplay features, and a new FXAA graphics option, as well as big improvements to support for modders working with the UI, and the usual collection of fixes and smaller improvements.

And there's more! We are also about to enter the public Alpha test phase for our in-house native Linux port of X: Rebirth. Steam Play means you can buy the game once and play it on any available platform, so if you would like to help us test and improve the Linux version, now's the time to get involved.
