The long-awaited 1.4 Update has officially been released and is now available on the main Downloads page of this site. As usual, please be sure you are downloading the proper version of the update for your copy of X².

Registering your game in your forum profile will allow you to get a personalised download page and thereby minimise problems.

To help ease the strain on the server a BitTorrent download service is also available. This can also be personalized for your edition of X² by registering your game as outlined above. Various BitTorrent clients are available and a Google search will help you to locate the one you want.

X²: The Threat has been nominated for Best PC Game and Best Overall Game of 2004! I am sure you will join us in congratulating everyone involved.

To add to this, the publisher Deep Silver has also been nominated for Best Publisher!
